Six years ago, around this time (6.00am) you were already preparing a one way journey to leave all of us.

Six years passed by...and we still think you are not gone.

Goodbye Atikah

Today, we sent another daughter to boarding school. This time, our eldest, Atikah registering into form 4 and she is taking Electrical Engineering.....as the proverb says "where the gravy falls, if not onto rice"..chewahhh, hehehehe.

Their two younger brothers however seem to be 'happy' with the current situation, I think. They will 'inherit' the two sisters' bunk single bed, Samsung SGH D-600 and Motorola V3 plus two ipod nano 4GB for their use while the sisters are away.

We miss the two of them. It was quite a tough time for us to depart with two elder daughters at one go, the elder in Cheras and the second one in Seremban. One thing for sure, we gonna have busy weekends ahead, for the next five years at least.

Bapak and mak wish both of u good luck with your new environment, study hard and be good always.

Sunday in Seremban

Today I and the whole family took the opportunity to visit Nina in TKC. Reached there around 1pm, saw many parents have already arrived and occupied almost all the gazebos. We headed straight to the canteen and unpacked Nina's favourite nasik ayam. I set-up the internet connection to my notebook for Nina to qada' her emails, Friendster, YMs etc.

Nina looked happy and she said she has no problem adapting to the hostel life. However she admited she cried after seeing her roommates cried....so "Nina pun nangis sama laaa", she said. Homesick agaknya. During the visit, Nina spoke to Siti, Atok and Ayah Chik over the phone.

Next Friday, we are going there again to bring Nina home for weekend outing until Sunday.

Hahhh??? Keluarga Osman Basir berkumpul lagi??? Ish..ish..ishh...kali ni di Lembah Keramat pulak. Ramai yang ader dan ader jugak yang tak dapat datang. Kali ni kambing ditaja oleh Cek Man dan air soya bean oleh Ijan. Kepada sponsor-sponsor lain, sorry la tak sebut nama...hehehe..

Muka-muka regular dalam setiap perjumpaan KOB kecuali yang pakai t-shirt hitam (membership still under probation), so tak boleh expose lagi.

Adlina is in TKC now

Just can't believe it....yesterday she was a little girl and tonite she won't be with us anymore. She has to learn to be independent...doing all the chores by herself. No more internet, no more handphone and sms, no more Astro...she has to sacrifice many-many things in her life for the next five years. As her father, I am going to miss her a lot.

Study hard, Nina....bapak and mak will always pray for your success.

Doa Selamat

Kami buat doa selamat dan majlis kesyukuran hari ni. Banyak sebab, antaranya:

1. Our second daughter, Adlina dapat masuk TKC.

2. Maid kitaorang dah selamat pulang dari bercuti.

3. Nak menyambut tahun baru hijrah tak lama lagi.

4. Dan lain-lain lagilah....

Kali ni kami buat pagi jam 9.30 am, hidang breakfast. Kali ni jugak kami tak menjemput mana-mana ustaz untuk memimpin bacaan tahlil dan doa selamat, bukan sebab tak percaya ustaz tapi rasanya dah confident buat sendiri.......hehehe. Apa pun, seperti biasa, KOB (Keluarga Osman Basir) berkumpul lagilah di Bangi ni....as seen in these pics...

New Office

No, I didn't change job. This time my present company decided to move to Wangsa Maju. Now I have to travel more than 40km from BB Bangi to Section 10 Wangsa Maju, plus the jam at MRR2. The new office is still not ready, actually....no tel line and no internet connection yet.

Bought my dream car (January)

Left Sapura after working there for nearly 5 years (January)

Start Work in an aviation maintenance company in Subang (Feb)

Participated in KL Internation Marathon (10km ajer) (March)

Did my first oil painting on canvas (April)

Cycling from Sg Besi to Port Dickson (July)

Joined Sapura again (September)

Met Marsha in person for the first time (October)

Visited Sipadan Island (December)
