OP85 Annual Buka Puasa 2006

We had our annual majlis berbuka puasa at Eden Restaurant, Chulan Square on last Friday, 13 Oct 2006. According to the organiser, Shahriman, 27 OPs from batch 85 turned up. This time we had our table reserved at the restaurant balcony...i believe due to requests by the majority ;-) Thanks, Shah...hehehe. Our friend Idrus came all the way from Kuantan, siap dengan baju batik lagi. Malik Mamak just came back from Sudan. From downsouth, Yellick has to be escorted from Seremban highway at Bangi by Cek An up to the Eden's parking lot...just to make sure he didn't change his mind attending this dinner. Kol (Dr) Cipan arrived in his baju melayu .... managed to sneak-out from his earlier bukapuasa function somewhere else. The rest of the attendees can easily identified from the pics here.

It was an enjoyable night and considered the biggest turn-up this year compared to our regular monthly TTS. I think most people never care much about the food, instead busy chatting with each other until about 10.30pm (nyaris tak kena halau dari restauran).

For those who have attended, thank you for your support and for those who cannot attend or just do not bother to attend, enjoy the pictures posted here. Next year we hope more OP85 will attend.

Makaroni Bakar

Makaroni Bakar (extracted from Mrs Tigerkun's blog)

Curry paste, eggs, makaroni, minced meat, tomato sos, buah tomato (blend to make puree), bawang besar (cut into small cubes), bawang goreng

tumis bawang besar
add curry paste
add minced meat
Tambah sos tomato/puree. A little bit of garam, to taste.
masukkan makaroni
eggs, lots of eggs (beaten)
kacau
bawang goreng
transfer to greased pan, padatkan. Add more eggs, biar nampak basah.
Bakar (till masak)
To serve, potong-potongkan makaroni bakar in cubes. Taburkan cabai merah/hijau yang potong kiub, bawang goreng, daun sup/bawang.

Farewell to Jaime, Azhar and Zul

Jaime M. Montesines

Jaime's contract has already expired last Sep. He has been in Malaysia since 1997 since the construction of KLIA and joined Sapura Defence in Oct 2001. He has been involved in various projects related to Air Traffic Management Systems and has assisted our company in various proposals and tender submissions. A hardworking man who works above and beyond what is required of him. He blends well with all kings of personalities in workplace and was always sincere, polite and helpful to others. One thing special about him, he plays guitar very well...like Freddie Anguilar and he taught me 'Anak'.

Azhar Che Ri

I first knew Azhar when we were working together in RMAF Butterworth in year 2000. A soft spoken man but hardworking, same like Jaime. He resigned from SD and chose to concentrate in his own business in Tanjung Malim.

Zulfadzly Abdul Hamid

Zulfadzly has been working as the Site Supervisor in SD Kerteh. Joined SD in Oct 2001 as System Engineer in KLIA and later transfered to Kerteh Airport as the Site Engineer. A happy go lucky person but hardworking. He has assisted our company to ensure the delivery of Project ATCS in Kerteh could be completed in time.


To Jaime, Azhar and Zul, thank you for your support and friendship for the last four years. I wish you all the best in your future careers.
