Children's Night Out Pulak

Malam tadi bawak bebudak gi tengok Ali Baba @ Istana Budaya. Aznil was entertaining tapi dia terikut-ikut gaya Professor Klon dalam Cicakman. The childrens were superb, especially the Kumpulan Alam. Iguana tu kiut giler. Overall memang seronok untuk budak budak. For me and my wife, seronok lagi makan nasi lemak Kg Baru lepas show.

Cicakman - Malaysia's First Superhero?

I am proud to draw our so-called "Malaysia's First Superhero"....The Cicakman in my Moleskine. Cicak is "lizard" in malay language. The movie is about a man who turned to be a superhero (like spiderman) and has the power of a cicak when he accidently drank a cup of coffee with a virus-infected cicak inside. It is starred by Saiful Apek, Fasha Sandha, Yusri KRU (director), Aznil Nawawi, AC Mizal (my long lost friend which i told u earlier) and many others and now shown at all major cinemas nationwide.

Mama in Hospital

I hate coming back to this place ever since my father passed away here in HKL in Jan 2002. However, this time I have no choice since mama has been admitted here since last Wednesday due to severe stomach pain. This afternoon she has succesfully undergone a two-hour surgery led by MR Raja Badrul to 'clean-up' all the mess inside her lower abdoment. Alhamdulillah, she is now in stable condition but still under close observation.

To the doctors and nurses who treated her, thanks for the good job. We still have a few more days to spend in HKL till mama is fit to be discharge. Please pray for her speedy recovery and I can get back to work peacefully, insyallah.

RMAF ATC Talk Down Nite

The RMAF ATC organised a BBQ dinner at Prince Hotel, Jalan Conlay yesterday. Attended by most air traffic control officers from the RMAF. Although I am not an ATC person, I have worked and 'grew-up' in the ATC world , especially RMAF, for the last 17 years. Frankly, I have more ATC friends than those people from my own trade. So, the invitation from the organisor for this dinner was something that I should not be missed. I felt very glad to meet many many old ATC friends ... Talo, BG Clent, Zul, Bush, Chelvam, Sam Panjang, Col Mus, Doosh, Radzi, Zain, Peah, Md Tuah, Ben, Sabarudin, Pak Pin, Simon, Hashim, Gucci and many many more.

If I am not mistaken, the word 'Talk Down' in ATC means to 'bring' the aircraft down to land safely. This term is normally used during one procedure called 'Ground Control Approach or GCA'. During this procedure, a GCA Controller will guide the pilot in order to bring the aircraft down by referring to a special radar display called Precision Approach Radar (PAR) which provides the aircraft glide slope and center line position (localizer). The GCA is specifically used by the military (civil aircraft do not use it) during the absence of Instrument Landing System (ILS). Betui ke? Pls correct me if I am wrong.

Farewell Dinner Mej Shuhaimi

Finally, a farewell dinner was thrown out for Mej Shuhaimi who has left our company more than three months ago. He is now a 'free' (and whealthier man) now. The dinner was held at one Thai Restaurant at Palm Garden Resort, Putrajaya.

To Mej Shuhaimi, I have said what I wanted to say during the dinner. Again...thanks for everything.
